About The Opportunity

As the Leading Hand, you will play a pivotal role in the workshop, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Training and mentoring apprentices, fostering their technical skills and confidence
• Working closely with the Service Advisor to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
• Aiming to achieve workshop KPIs and quality assurance targets consistently
• Optimising job allocation and workflow to maximise productivity
• Maintaining the safety, security, and presentation of all vehicles

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a mechanic
• Leadership skills and or  / management experience 
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Roadworthy Certification and Experience (Highly regarded)
• Certificate III In Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
